C-TYPE PAPER PRINTS
A C-Type print is a digital photograph reproduced onto traditional photographic paper. The photographic paper used has an extremely broad colour spectrum giving a true continuous tone, sharp, crisp images and precise edge to edge printing with no distortion. Photographic C-type paper prints are made by exposing photographic paper to laser light which is then developed using traditional photographic techniques. The process offers me the photographer the quality and archival properties of a traditional photographic print, combined with the creativity and consistency that can only be achieved from a digital process. Prints are mounted onto single mounts of conservation quality chalk white mountboard. The mount is signed and - where appropriate - numbered. Each photograph presented as a mounted paper print has a narrow white border that allows me to sign the back of the print without disturbing the actual photograph. (and numbered if it's a limited edition). all dimensions quoted on this website are for the photograph, not the paper size. This border is hidden under the mount, which itself provides a border of approximately 55mm. the final dimensions of photograph and mount are designed to fit standard size frames. All prints supplied without frames. Signed Certificate provided, which contains edition information plus a description about the photograph If the print is to be framed and will therefore be viewed behind glass, I recommend a lustre print as this will not show fingerprints and other minor blemishes. |
