A quiet English road…..you can travel the whole country on these almost deserted roads. Most junctions have a signpost like this one, so getting lost can be fun, because you can just follow the signposts which will eventually lead you to your destination.
These narrow lanes provide many, many wonderful and sometimes unexpected views, and because they are all tarmac’d, they are perfect for cycletouring on, if you don’t mind the very, very, very steep hills.
